Today we had the pleasure of visiting Jungfraubahnen and were warmly welcomed by Urs Siegenthaler, CIO of Jungfraubahnen.

Over ten years ago, our very first rail router project with Jungfraubahnen marked the beginning of a truly special journey – it was our first contact with rolling stock and the starting point for the development of our own operating system: CARLOS – the Cloud-based Advanced Router Linux Operating System.

Since then, our routers have been in operation on all rolling stock at Jungfraubahnen. After more than a decade of service, the first generation has now been successfully replaced – a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

A big thank you to Urs for taking the time to reflect on our beginnings, share insights, and guide us through the impressive infrastructure – and, of course, for the delicious lunch with breathtaking views. Your hospitality and long-standing trust mean a lot to us.
