onway: along with onway how long have you been on board?
Since May 2022.
What tasks does your role include?
As part of the software development team, I am jointly responsible for the further development of our software products. At the moment, I'm mainly working on our "onway director".
What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
The team. Working in a team where everyone works together, supports each other and laughs together is a lot of fun. I'm curious by nature and I really appreciate the fact that learning never stops in our profession.
Which technologies and topics do you come across in your job?
I work at two different ends of the spectrum. On the one hand, I am involved in the development of user interfaces. This involves interacting with the users. On the other hand, we communicate with network devices. What I find particularly exciting at the moment is the processing and visualization of telemetry data from routers.
For me, onway means a great team, varied work and that I don't have to take myself too seriously.
onway: What professional expertise are you bringing to the table?
In addition to my experience in Java and web development, I know a few "Uhu- und Hai" jokes that liven up meetings.
What are your plans for the future, what do you definitely want to achieve with onway?
We should convince the company that we need a wellness area in the office. A roller coaster could also be an exciting way to make the route from the office to the lounge more interesting.
