After a successful trial operation in the summer of 2023, the modern ICT network infrastructure at Bus und Service AG (BuS) Chur was gradually expanded. This included revising the network design, preparing passenger Wi-Fi in the vehicles, and integrating additional components such as switches to enable future integration of the video surveillance system.

With the timetable change at the start of the new year, BuS has now rolled out its passenger Wi-Fi across the entire fleet. The vehicles of Engadin Bus, which are part of BuS, have particularly benefited from this development. "We are convinced that this service will significantly enhance both the comfort of our passengers and the vehicle infrastructure," says Michael Cuonz, technician and IT specialist at BuS. With the installed indoor Wi-Fi antennas, BuS will now offer the internet service provider’s service from onway in all 64 buses.
