The on4800 is a fanless, maintenance-free server/router for on-board applications in the transport sector, for example in buses and trains. Thanks to container virtualisation, several applications such as passenger information, entertainment, passenger counting or storage of monitoring data can be operated simultaneously on the same hardware. Quality of service and firewall functionalities ensure that different security and capacity requirements can be met at all times.

The on4800 runs on the CarlOS operating system developed by onway specifically for network devices and is installed and maintained entirely via our cloud-based management system. This is the only way to install and test innovative mobility applications flexibly and without having to go on site, and to update them with new functions/releases on an ongoing basis.
