In-person Project Meeting in Zurich

Our joint digitalization project with the bus company Harzer Verkehrsbetriebe (HVB) and Atron is almost complete. To discuss the final steps, the CEO of HVB, Christian Fischer, visited us in person in Zurich today.
The first delivery of 40 sets of routers, antennas, and cables will soon leave our warehouse, enabling the 175 vehicles of HVB, including those of subcontractors, to ensure stable and high-performance 5G vehicle-to-ground communication by mid-2025. This networking of all IP components also guarantees the greatly simplified Atron ticketing: in the future, a smartphone or credit card will be enough to board the bus (IDBT). This makes it easier to access buses, public transportation, and the mobility transition.
The project is part of the model project "harzbewegt" and is funded by the federal government and Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH.
