Efficient public WLAN infrastructure

In late 2020, the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) issued a new invitation to tender to replace its previously self-managed public WLAN solution. The main goal was to replace the captive portal.

IT network in a traditional luxury hotel

At Zurich’s most exclusive location – Paradeplatz – the traditional Savoy Hotel Baur en Ville is currently undergoing extensive interior renovation work. Given that onway installed the IT network (LAN/WLAN) in the newly renovated Mandarin Oriental Lucerne, we are now also implementing the necessary changes in Zurich.

Our powerful WLAN on the world record-breaking train

The RhB travelled along the Albula line on 29 October 2022 with 25 four-car Capricorn multiple units from leading Swiss manufacturer Stadler. Passengers were able to use our high-performance Wi-Fi on the 1906-metre-long record-breaking train and we are proud to have been part of this historic event.
