One of the most demanding functions for moving vehicles is the provision of a stable and high-performance train-land connection. Not only do the modules in the vehicle have to be controlled using traffic control functions, but also the tunnel end points on the land side (because download traffic is always greater than upload traffic).
onway continuously measures the capacity of all available communication paths and distributes these to the various applications according to the priority specifications. onway maximises the bandwidths of any technology, be it several parallel mobile networks, satellite connections or WLAN uplinks. onway also offers the necessary security to transmit not only the passengers‘ Internet traffic but also all the company's internal applications (such as ticket readers, drivers’ iPads, etc.) via the same communication network. Thanks to network virtualisation, an integrated firewall and Quality of Service functions, onway gives you full control over all train-to-land communication, which increases the efficiency of your vehicle fleet and saves costs.
